The Beale GP160 is a 1.6 metre (5’ 3”) long mid-sized grand piano made with spruce backposts and rims from walnut and maple. The cast-iron frame is hand machined and finished in a 32+ step process for strength. The pin block is 21-ply maple. The actions are made from maple and the keys from spruce with a tri-laminated process. The hammers are made with select 22Lb wool that’s pressed and waterproofed. The strings are Roslau Treble Wire from Germany. The soundboard is vertical grain select mountain-grown spruce, surface-veneered With select spruce to prevent cracking. The bridge is made from high quality maple.
